Poem

A gentle kiss, now poisoned words
Wings that once protected
Now stretched wide, soaring above, swooping down, tormenting...
Then gone

Swimming against the tide
Mocked by his freedom
She is tired

Now another, once cruel
Turns spite to lust
Toying with her vulnerability
Her weakness exposed
Her desire so far denied
Listless, lifeless body and mind
What poor sport she is
Aroused by her languished state
He tempts her with a seductive kiss
